 When I walked in we had to write a blog of what we wanted out of this school years class. During class we learned about African American culture. He showed us different stereotypes of African Americans. He also showed us how to learn about the culture starting with the food. They had soul food. It goes back all the way to slavery and the dishes they made with different parts of the animal the Master didn’t want. The lesson ended with different literary figures in African American culture. 10/10 lesson
